Assistant Manager- Knowledge Management
Job Summary :
- The Knowledge Manager is responsible for understanding and upholding the knowledge management standards and approach by contributing to and executing the Knowledge Management projects for internal and external stakeholders. This includes timely delivery of community, content, and culture activities as per the Knowledge Management products & services to EY's account teams and market segments.
- This position will execute the knowledge co-creation and deliver standard products including Why EY collateral, engagement debriefs, win stories, case studies and submit these to Discover.
- This position will enable access to knowledge assets by executing content harvesting, curation and co-creation of knowledge assets.
- This position will create, coordinate and share success stories in support of high touch culture activation sessions at the account or domain level.
- This position will enhance the content findability by applying relevant meta-data in Discover and other EY tools.
- This position will contribute to knowledge management transformation, innovation and service excellence programs and contribute to the development of knowledge management standards, methods and enablers to support consistent, end-to-end service execution.
- With the evolution of the KM offering, the position will work closely with account teams to support pursuit and delivery of KM engagements.
Purpose of the Job :
- Execute KM projects to support EY accounts across the KM Value chain, while adhering to EY's standards and KPIs
Content management :
- Curate knowledge assets that reflect the best of EY experiences (e.g. pursuit decks, Why EY, client stories) and elevate insights to support pursuits
- Create relevant materials from pursuits (e.g., win stories, credentials)
- Capture knowledge convert it into usable formats, and enable access for broader use through Discover
- Harvest account-specific knowledge maintain an inventory of knowledge assets, and integrate into Discover / other tools for broader use
- Promote knowledge assets through targeted communication across accounts / market segments
Community management :
- Create and manage communities that support knowledge sharing, accelerate access to insights and people expertise
- Assist/enable account knowledge champions to leverage global EY network and co-facilitate key account activities and events
Knowledge culture activation :
- Deliver knowledge awareness training focused on Discover, account & industry research, and other knowledge tools & resources
- Execute KM plan for acquired businesses (by EY or EY's clients), including transition of counterpart KM personnel and IP assets to EY
- Execute content migration of priority knowledge assets into Discover / EY environment / client environment
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities :
- Ongoing evaluation of knowledge value to the domain
- Engage key stakeholders and deliver effective change and progress the community's knowledge culture
- Identify opportunities to achieve a step change advancement of the community's accessible knowledge
Knowledge & Skills Requirements :
- Understanding of knowledge management approaches and their application, paired with the ability to articulate the value they bring to the business and drive buy-in and sponsorship from the business
- Understanding of knowledge infrastructure and relevant domain-specific technology solutions to facilitate stakeholder discussions and identify expert resources to bring to discussions when needed
- Consultative mindset and integrated teaming approach to service delivery
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively to lead change with people on a global basis
- Executive presence and demonstrated success in building relationships at a senior level
- Professional, confident, credible and an enthusiastic team player able to work effectively across functional teams and domains
- Strong project management skills and experience in leading programs and projects to achieve milestones and objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Supervision Responsibilities : Partner with other Knowledge roles (e.g., R&I KM, KS KM, Digital Producer, Data Engineer) for project execution
