EY - Economic Policy Expert - Government Advisory

EY's Economic Development Advisory team is working with Government of India and many of the state governments in managing their flagship programs in the sector. The team also works with IFIs (like World Bank and ADB), public sector and financing agencies and provides diverse services such as program management, PPP transaction advisory, program evaluation and impact assessment, market entry strategy, etc.

To support the growth of its business, EY India is looking for an Economic/Public policy expert for its Government and Public Sector Advisory.

Qualification and Skill sets:

- Bachelor/Master's in Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.

- 3 - 8 years of experience, preferably in EDA or other government sector.

- Proven experience as an Economic Policy/Industrial Policy, IT Policy.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.

- Should have strong knowledge about Government of India programs and initiatives in EDA sector.

- Proven track record of conducting high-quality research and producing actionable insights.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic trends, policies, and regulations.

- Lead research projects on key economic and policy issues, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

- Develop policy recommendations based on research findings and contribute to the formulation of evidence-based policies.

- Stay abreast of current economic trends, policy developments, and best practices in the field.

- Monitor and evaluate the impact of policies on economic indicators and outcomes.
