EY - Business cum Technical Analyst - SAS - BFSI Domain

Responsibilities :

- Develop expertise in implementation of SAS suite of solutions in the Banking and Finance domain, particularly in the Risk Management area

- Work with clients to understand and analyze their business/functional requirements as part of SAS implementation cycle

- Preparation of documentation of functional and data requirements

- Develop insight into technical solution design documentation

- Translate the solution design document into actual build

- Understanding clients- expectations from solution being implemented

- Proactively identify gaps, issues and work and lead a team for resolution, including documentation and implementation of appropriate action plans

- Participate/Front-end imparting training to business/technical users

- Assist in preparation of high level test cases for Unit Testing, SIT and UAT

Must Have Knowledge/Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of corporate and retail banking products, treasury and risk management in banks

- Hands on experience on SAS tools and solutions - such as SAS EG, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Analytics Studio, etc.

- Must have lead or actively taken part in SAS solution implementation projects with proven track record

- Reasonable understanding of capital and liquidity adequacy guidelines (Basel) and/or Asset Liability Management (ALM) and/or Profitability domain and its implication on banking business

- Well versed with latest developments in the banking industry and financial market innovations

- Having good communication and presentation skills - both oral and written

Desirable to have Experience / Skills :

- Exposure to in Statistical techniques in the banking and finance domain

- Willingness and zeal to learn and augment banking domain skills especially in the risk management area
