EY - Business Analyst - Asset Management Domain

What you'll do:

The primary responsibilities include:

- Works with a globally diverse team and collaborate with Wealth markets to develop funds & Asset Management / Investment Management working on areas like Public Markets and Private Markets (Alternative Investments - Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Assets).

- Lead team of Product Specialist in NCR region.

- Collaborate with the wider Asset Mgt team to deliver a high-quality funds & platform to Wealth markets.

- Collaborate with internal and third-party product manufactures, distribution, compliance, risk and other cross function stakeholders

- Acting as subject matter expert for funds by providing support for the technical, strategic and operational aspects of funds.

- First point of contact for Wealth markets, coordinating funds to meet their business needs, supporting product innovation as well as enhancements and rationalization of existing products and solutions.

- Manage investment product governance lifecycle including new product approvals and on- going reviews, while ensuring global standards such as Fair Value Exchange and Range Review are imbedded in investment product offering.

- Support Wealth markets' funds a, including but not limited to helping markets achieve key financial and non-financial metrics, adherence to product governance (new product or initiative approval), product and shelf review, implementation of product strategy and any other ad hoc request.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role

- MBA, master's in finance or numerical discipline

- At least 10 years work experience, ideally in the investment industry (wealth management, asset management, fund selection, private banking) and with exposure to a product development, fund advisory, or portfolio management.

- working on areas such as Client Reporting, Books and Records, Sales & Marketing, Performance and Attribution, ESG, Data Market place etc. Experience with Aladdin, eFront, AllVue, Charles River will be a huge plus.

- Familiarity with mutual fund industry and trends

- Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead change to deliver results with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities

- International exposure and previous experience with a multi-geography team environment

- In-depth technical knowledge and experience with products such as mutual funds, Asset Management / Investment Management working on areas like Public Markets and Private Markets (Alternative Investments - Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Assets discretionary portfolios management

- Working knowledge of research tools/databases such as Morningstar, Fastest, Style Analytics and Bloomberg

- An entrepreneurial, start-up approach and willingness to take end-to-end ownership are key, as is the ability to collaborate and communicate with the team members and key stakeholders across the business.

- Proactive, positive attitude and ability to multi-task especially under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines

- Team player, strong organizational and time management skills, people management experience

- Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner.
