- We are looking for an experienced HR Compliance Partner to join our team and ensure adherence to US employment laws and regulations.
Role Overview:
- As an HR Compliance Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with US labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enforce HR best practices that align with US legal standards.
- This role requires expertise in US employment compliance and laws, along with experience working in a hybrid environment with a US shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local labor laws, including FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, ADA, and other employment regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to align with US legal requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with legal and HR teams to ensure proper documentation and adherence to employment regulations.
- Provide guidance on workplace policies, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other HR matters in compliance with US laws.
- Handle employee relations concerns, ensuring fair treatment and legal compliance in investigations and resolutions.
- Support training and development initiatives related to compliance, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
- Assist in managing work authorizations, visas, and I-9 compliance.
- Stay updated on changes in US labor laws and provide recommendations for company-wide policy enhancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: minimum 5 years in HR compliance in a US-focused role.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of US labor laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Location: Pune-based candidates with experience in US compliance.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work Model: Hybrid role with working hours from 6 PM to 2 AM IST.
