INDICATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify & develop learning strategies to address short term, medium term and long term needs, along with cross-functional stakeholders across Extramarks

2. Build relationships with all key sales and operational, vertical and regional heads to collaborate on business needs, assess key learning opportunities and understand how best to align learning needs to impact priority business metrics

3. Manage national team of regional sales Learning and Development managers and executives and ensure overall corporate strategy alignment and effective implementation

4. Identify SoPs and key systems and processes to scale training with consistency, while contextualizing content for regional teams according to their needs and market dynamics

5. Identify, develop and implement key metrics and dashboards to measure the impact and effectiveness of training and professional development programs

6. Lead the overall operations of the Learning and Development team through the lifecycle of setting up the team, defining operational SoPs, KRAs and overall execution and ensure operational effectiveness of the Learning and Development team

7. Any other related work in L&D not mentioned above

8. Willingness to travel 30 - 40% of the time across India

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & TRAITS

- B.Tech/ BBA/BA Economics or related quantitative degree from top tier institutions

- 6-7 + years working experience in sales/support training & development and/or sales and sales leadership

- Significant Experience developing and implementing learning strategies especially in multichannel sales training

- Experience in leading the implementation of key internal and external facing projects (sales development/strategy, training, communications, marketing, account management)

- Experience in emerging trends and marketing methodologies in the digital content industry and overall knowledge and experience in consumer goods sales methods

- Experience in project management and experience in leading the implementation of strategic projects with cross-functional teams

- Communication and presentation experience and experience working with executive level leaders

- Experience in collaborating, sharing and driving implementation of best practices across functions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & TRAITS

- MBA in marketing & sales, general management, communications, or any other related field from top tier institutions

- Significant sales experience and sales leadership experience, preferably in top tier FMCG organizations

- Experience with or knowledge of Extramarks apps and services

- Experience working with, or leading, diverse learning styles and personalities
