About the Role:

- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Export Manager with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export documentation and customs clearance processes.

- This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant shipments.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination.

- Prepare and review export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and expedite customs clearance for outgoing shipments.

- Communicate with internal departments, such as sales, logistics, and production, to ensure timely fulfillment of export orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

- Stay informed about export regulations, trade compliance requirements, and international shipping practices to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

- Track and monitor export shipments, provide status updates to customers, and address any delays or issues that may impact delivery schedules.

- Maintain accurate records of export transactions, documentation, and shipping activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members involved in export operations, including training and mentoring as needed.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in export operations, and implement best practices to enhance overall productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field.

- 1-3 years of experience in export operations, customs clearance, or international logistics.

- Strong understanding of export documentation requirements, including INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.

- Proficiency in export software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically to resolve issues and improve processes.

-Knowledge of trade compliance regulations, export controls, and international trade agreements is a plus.
