Job Summary: The Exports Head for the Africa region will be responsible for leading and managing
the company's export operations and sales across Africa. This role involves developing and executing strategies to expand market share, increasing revenue, and establishing a strong brand presence in the African market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in FMCG, sector with a strong understanding of the African market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Expansion & Business Development:
o Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Africa region for the company's products.
o Establish and manage relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
o Conduct market research to understand local consumer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
o Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent growth in export sales.
o Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
3. Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations, including customs, tariffs, and export documentation.
o Coordinate with the logistics team to manage shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
4. Brand Building & Marketing:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute brand-building activities in the Africa region.
o Plan and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to increase brand visibility.
