The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising and a proven track record of success in securing funds from a variety of sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and funding organizations
- Prepare and submit grant proposals and applications for funding
- Organize and coordinate fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and other special events
- Manage and maintain donor databases, ensuring accurate and timely donor information
- Develop and implement donor recognition and stewardship programs
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and communications, to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging
- Monitor and report on fundraising activities and outcomes, providing regular updates to senior leadership
Requirements :
- Master's degree in a related field from top institutions
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success (preferably with philanthropies)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and techniques
- Proficiency in donor database management and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to meet fundraising goals and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
