ExMyB - Marketing Business Analyst

JOB PURPOSE:

- BA will be responsible for Analysing data, developing and executing Forecasting & Predictive Analytics to support strategy development and business decision-making for marketing; providing clear and actionable insights to the business by undertaking best-in-class analytics work; interfacing with key stakeholders in order to plan and execute Business Intelligence (BI) projects; coordinating and assisting BI & Data Warehousing (DW) activities within the team; and driving improvements and development within the Analytics team.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Analysing data, developing and executing Forecasting & Predictive Analytics to support strategy development and business decision-making for marketing and Product ( Growth team )

- Interface with key stakeholders in order to plan and execute BI Projects

- Provide clear and actionable insights to the business stakeholders by undertaking best- in-class analytics work

- Monitor, coordinate and assist BI and DW activities within the team

- Drive execution on strategic high impact projects for steep growth

- Responsible for performing data driven analytics for generating business insights

- Drive key analytical projects to deliver on revenue goals and data driven decision making

- Coordinating and driving end-to-end cross-functional projects in collaboration with business stakeholders

- Identifying high impact experiences and developing and implementing strategies to solve for the same

- Develop strong hypothesis, conduct A/B analytics and make data based recommendations

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:

Functional Skills and Competencies:

- Advanced expertise in SQL , SQL Server with understanding of other database support activities

- Familiarity in visualization tools like Tableau

- Candidates with experience in one or more analytics tools like R, Python , statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, will get advantage

- Knows how to do large scale data mining (multi-million row data sets), reporting and knowledge discovery.

- Very good understanding of data storage infrastructure and query writing.

- Understands the purpose, roles, tasks, duties and responsibilities of his role and how it links to the other roles.

Analytical Thinking and Decision Making Skills:

- Ability to analyze reports and available data to formulate business insights and decide what recommendations to make basis them.

- Ability to identify requirements of the organization's information systems and participate in decision-making processes with key stakeholders to decide what kind of Predictive and Forecasting Reports need to be created and published.

- Ability to make major decisions impacting strategic outcomes appropriately and effectively.

- Demonstrates ability to make unpopular and difficult decisions when necessary.

- Ability to handle varying amounts of information, distill key points drawing practical conclusions translating into a strong business case and business requirements.

- Ability to look beyond the obvious solutions and ways of working and create better reports or more efficient ways of reporting.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering/Technology

BA : 2-3 year of Exp.

- Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence/Data Mining tools to work with data, investigate anomalies, construct data sets, and build models
