Advisory Lead
Basic Function : Manage and lead the advisory practice for Client
Essential Functions :
- Manage and lead the Advisory practice
- Responsible for all deal sourcing and benchmarking projects
- Manage and mentor a team of associates
- Continue to enhance and implement the Advisory framework
- Provide research on industries, sectors and markets
- Generate valuations / merger models
- Proven ability to undertake detailed financial / deal sourcing analysis for inclusion in presentations and client reports
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including a track record of delivering outstanding client service in compressed timeframes
Technical Skills :
- A minimum 10+ years experience in an advisory environment, preferably in a strong VC / M&A advisory transactional role
- Sectoral experience with strong research capabilities
- Ability to conduct strategic and financial pre-analysis to identify opportunities and risks relating to each target
- Strong technical skills (financial modeling DCF, LBO, Merger Modeling), an understanding of financial markets and M&A process
- Proven ability to undertake detailed financial / deal sourcing analysis for inclusion in presentations and client reports
Process Specific Skills :
- Sectoral experience preferably Technology, Media & Telecom, Life Sciences, or Healthcare
- 409A valuation
- Experience in the core projects in M&A (buy-side) or independent advisory teams would be advantageous
- Exposure to VC side of business deal sourcing or private placements
- Understanding of the VC / PE eco-system and private company structures

- Commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients, with ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of SME- s
