Responsibilities
- Performing periodic reviews of premium, loss and expense reserves on specified lines of business
- Calculation of an Actuarial central estimate and the best estimate
- Presentation and communication of periodic reserve analyses to business
- Performing and presenting ad-hoc reserving analyses as required
- Supporting communication of reserve review results to executive management, group actuarial department and finance department.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and management of reserving databases, applications and systems (e.g. ResQ software)
- Assisting in the quarterly calculation of Solvency Technical Provisions.
Candidate Profile:
- Education/Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation
- Work Experience: UK P&C Insurance
- Functional Skills: ResQ/Arius/IGLOO, MS Office, UK P&C Insurance Reserving
- Behavioral/ Leadership skills: Should work independently and have excellent communication skills
