EXL Service - Manager - Talent Analytics

Role & Responsibilities Overview:

- Research, analyze, and present data as assigned to the unstructured business problems

- Create data-driven analysis and recommendations that effectively influence business decisions.

- Develop detailed codes for data preparation to be used for analysis using SAS, Advanced Excel, SQL

- Importing, merging and appending different datasets, joins in SAS and making visualizations using Viz tools like PowerBi, Thinkcell

- Prepare visualizations using visualization tools like Power Bi, Tableau, Think Cell

- Prepare detailed documentation of models, visualizations and compelling stories to tell using data and make oral presentations to various stakeholders

- Assist in learning and development of new team members.

- Critically examine and deep dive into analysis and enhance per the recommendations

- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Complete understanding of the current state of affairs and problem statement

- Knowledge of insurance domain and minimum of 3+ yrs of industry experience

- Ability to manage team size of at least 3-4 members

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelors/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, MBA, candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply

- 3+ years experience, preferably in talent/hr/insurance analytics

- Strong and in-depth understanding of statistical concepts, Data analysis and consulting using analytics driven approach to business problems

- Experience in data extraction and data manipulation using SAS/SQL and good to have skills around Data Scrubbing, Mining

- Complete understanding of SAS procedures and SAS macros

- Experience in data control and data automation.

- Prior experience in managing and delivering on end to end projects

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges

- Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
