Job Description:

Specific detail and core responsibilities

Typical activities that will be performed on a day-to-day basis and relating to the above include:

- Providing subject matter expertise and domain / lead point of contact in the Data Management and Quality subject area to / for colleagues and projects; utilising personal experience gained over a number of years working within the data management and data quality arena

- Confirming, defining and enforcing data quality requirements within a project and business as usual capacity

- Building and executing new and existing data quality artefacts e.g. supporting definition of business rules, profiling data, building data dashboards, facilitating and running workshops, presenting at Executive and local forums, testing rules, building SAS scripts etc.

- Leading management of data breaches and the remediation processes; helping to resolve data quality issues

- Lead the on-going development and sustainability of existing Data Management Frameworks; setting a foundation for implementation within the wider RCCR domain

- Embedding best practice transitioning project deliverables to business as usual

- Manage governed processes e.g. change management and requests

- Management of an overall Data Dictionary for RCCR covering all sources and RCCR systems

- Reporting against data quality indicators and principles, for systems managed within RCCR

- Provide quality assurance oversight of data management and quality processes and deliverables

- Measure data quality and build / manage data quality documentation e.g. a RCCR Data Dictionary and Data Management Team processes

- Input into technical solution options aligned to the strategic architecture (SAS and Unix)

- Provide approval on behalf of the Data Management team for all Data Quality accountabilities

- Deliver to governance standards and gateway assurance
