Business Analysts will typically use analytical, statistical and business intelligence tools to generate insights for decision making in functional areas (e.g. marketing, risk, fraud, etc.) across various industry verticals.

Competencies and Skills :

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL and PowerPoint is mandatory.

- Working knowledge of Python/R is preferred.

- Should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong attention to details and number is a must.

- Clear listening and communication skills.

- Understanding of Marketing and Customer Profiling.

- Desire to leverage technical competence to solve business problems in an information rich environment.

- Knowledge and understanding of quantitative analysis is required and statistical analysis is preferred.

- Team player with demonstrated leadership potential who can lead teams independently in future.

Responsibilities :

- Own and manage all data for specific analytical projects

- Work with the business team to specify analysis tasks to generate insights

- Design and execute the analysis tasks using the appropriate language / tools

- Develop and implement business information reports on various platforms

- Adhering to documentation control standards and processes maintaining high standards of quality will be a key requirement

Education and Experience :

- Knowledge of Excel and SQL is mandatory for individuals with both Bachelor's and Master's degree.

- Candidates who only have a Bachelor's degree (BE/B. Tech or Honors in Economics, Math, Statistics) must have a year of analytics or relevant experience (IT/ITES).

- Fresher's with a Master's degree are hired only from a reputed B School.
