POSITION TITLE: LATM-AMC
BUSINESS UNIT: Sales Training - Sales Tied Agency
REPORTING TO: General Manager-AMC
NO OF REPORTEES: 3
Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish):
- The incumbent is a training team leader based out of Regional Office- Kolkata. She/ He will be responsible for entire channel training operations, planning & building training capacities across the regions.
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned):
- Periodically reviewing the field training activities of the trainers & suggest corrective measures, if any
- Maintaining the high morale, satisfaction & engagement levels of the training team, by providing & fostering right environment
- Conducting all head office as well as region mandated program
- Inducting & re-training training team members as & when required
- Ensuring that the training requirements of all the Regional Managers, Territory Managers, Cluster Managers & SOs are met with
- Create and manage all MIS related to channel training activities & conduct audits at regular intervals
- Assisting VP sales training in planning & forecasting training budget
- Recruit & maintain the sanctioned manpower capacity at minimum 90% at any point of time
- Ensure the Induction training program of all the employees in the channel is conducted as mandated by the functional head
- Coordinate with the channel partners to understand their training requirements & provide the necessary training through his team members based out of the regions
- To review & guide training team members
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position) -
- Should be in the age group of 30 - 36
- Graduate/Post Graduate
- Total work experience of 8-15 years in sales & training. Should be in training function for the last 5 years in a man management position
- Life insurance industry exposure is essential, preferably in Tied Agency channel training

- Good understanding of training needs in the insurance industry-all channels
- Effective communication skills-Both oral as well as in written
- Strong interpersonal skills-working with & through people
- Positive attitude & emotional maturity
- Computer savvy: strong competency in MS Office especially in Excel & Power Point
