POSITION TITLE: Deputy Manager - Business Analysis
BUSINESS UNIT: Information Technology
REPORTING TO: Deputy General Manager / Senior Manager
NO OF REPORTEES: Nil
LOCATION : Bangalore- Head Office
Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish):
- The Business Analyst would need to analyze new projects / products / change requests received from the business users and proactively highlight /suggest solutions that are the best practices in the industry. Also, he would be required to prepare business cases for testing and ensure that the development team has no queries / concerns during development and after the module is moved to production environment
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)
Project Related :
- Analysis and Solution Definition. Proactively identify solutions for Business problems
- Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry
- Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement
- Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Develops functional specifications and system design specifications
- Business Case preparation
Technical Recommendation and Testing
- Lead testing efforts.
- Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Work with business stakeholders to identify required changes
- Communicate needed changes to development team
- Delivers informative, well-organized presentations
- Understand and tactfully manage communication of difficult/sensitive information
