Executive - Sustain Markets - NGO

Your role

- Research and advise on sustainability, climate impact, renewable energy transition, environmental impact, social issues, and business and human rights across various industries

- Write draft papers such as agendas, publication framework, news articles, social media posts, etc.

- Provide support in planning, coordinating, managing, and implementing sustainability activities

- Representation and promotion of this institution and SustainMarkets at events, partner meetings, roundtables, seminar, training, etc.

- Support the Head of SustainMarkets to design and implement practical frameworks, structures, and approaches in relevant topics, activities, training, and other activities and connect them with the strategic relevance of this institution and its service offerings

- Expansion of SustainMarkets' service portfolio and improvements of procedures and SOPs

- Support activities in collaboration with partner organisations of this institution , its activities and events, and its Network Representative in close consultation with the SustainMarkets team

- Stay abreast on political, sustainability, and economic developments in India and Germany

Your profile

- University degree in International Business/Trade, Responsible and Sustainable Business Development or related fields

- At least 2 years of experience working on multiple sectors and disciplinaries with demonstrated impact in areas of sustainable business growth, business and human rights, climate change

- Knowledge of human rights requirements in the supply chain and its remedial steps, in case of violations

- Understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's), UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, ESG and internationally recognised sustainability reporting standards

- Excellent communication and writing skills in English, proficiency in German is an added advantage

- Self-motivated continuous learner with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail

- Working knowledge of MS Office 365 and virtual meeting platforms"
