JOB PURPOSE:
- To manage Abrasives demand planning and forecasting - analyzing and normalizing the demand & forecast, and coordinating with business SCM for production planning.
- To coordinate with the key stakeholders - internal & external, to get the demand inputs to prepare forecast for monthly SIOP process.
- To report the Key SCM KPI's & Result Indicators to the Business.
- To capitalize on current opportunities and to identify and help develop potential sales opportunities in the market
Requirements:
- Looking for, preferably, a female candidate
- Worked in Demand planning, demand analysis, normalizing and forecast
- Advance knowledge of excel (including Macros).
- Knowledge of supply chain analytics software like Ariba, Tableau etc. is a plus.
- The work should be strategic and not transactional wherein the candidate just feeds the data into the system and gets an output from the software and report it to the business.
- The candidate should have an analytical bent of mind. Should be able to analyze the data and put across her solution/recommendation on the same.
FORWARD PLANNING: Requires strategic planning and decision making
KEY INTERACTIONS:
- Internal - Interaction with Supply Chain team, Sales team and Marketing team, SGRI
- External - Interaction with customers, channel partners and vendors
JOB ROLE:
1. Responsible for Item Classification using Statistical SCM Tools.
2. Responsible for Generating Demand Forecast using Analytical Tools and SCM Process.
3. Analyzing and Normalizing the Demand & Forecast.
4. Coordinating with Business SCM for Production Planning.
5. Responsible for Data Analysis and supporting Business SCM for material Availability
6. Responsible for Finished Goods Inventory Optimization
7. Closely Interact with the Customers and Distributors and improve the Service Levels
8. Tracking of key SCM KPI's and action plan.
9. Releasing SCM Dash Board for Key SCM KPI's and Result indicators.

- The Profile should be Proficient in Demand Analytics, Statistical Tools, Forecasting, Data Management and SCM Processes.
