- This will be an individual contributor role responsible for business development, client & candidate relationship management, and process management & sourcing/ closures of mandates.

Job Overview :
- The Principal Consultant is responsible for building business and maintaining relationships wit esteemed clients, key accounts and execution of Search mandates within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Automobile, Infrastructure industry vertical in Tamil Nadu market.
Key Result Areas :
A. Client Relationship Management :
- Establish trusted relationships and partnerships with the leaders within Client Organisation.
- Offer advice to both clients and candidates on compensation, talent pool availability and career progression.
- Responsible for Engagement with CHRO/HR business partners.
- Develop knowledge of clients' industry, company, work culture and environment.
- Keep a close tap on Industry trends, identify and engage with industry experts for improvement
opportunities and business development strategies.
- Keep a constant touch point with client through briefing meetings and set expectations for delivery of Search process.
- Build a strong network channel in order to attract business and expand the portfolio
B. Process Management & Sourcing :
- Follow agreed client search process for delivery on the mandates.
- Create and execute Sourcing Strategy and share with client within delivery timelines.
- Position the role through a detailed Candidate Docket.
- Develop candidate pipeline by discovering untapped sources of talent through creative sourcing techniques (i.e. social media, professional referrals, creative advertising, etc.) Create and monitor job postings.
- Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be working
- Receive and review suitable candidates, manage interviews, tests, assessments and present a shortlist of candidates to the client.
C. Candidate Relationship Management :
- Deliver a first-class experience to all candidates/sources directly and brief candidates on the opportunity and client value proposition for professional/technical and management roles.
- Create a Position Docket in agreement with Client to be shared with candidate, providing a clear view of opportunity within client organisation.
- Manage all candidates effectively throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain relationships and seek referrals of other candidates
- Use competency interviewing to identify and differentiate candidate in presentation and short-list process
- Manage candidate expectations and ensure timely and constructive feedback
- Promote positive relationships and strong partnerships to protect the candidate experience
D. Business Development
- Position organisation as an Industry Expert and develop sources for proactive business development.
- Engage with leaders to agree on contracts, retainers at competitive rates and ensure client delivery as per agreements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the client to ensure a good understanding of their current and future priorities.
- Create and Publish Promotion material including White Papers, Industry Reviews, Competitor Benchmarking reports along with Business Development team for sharing with clients and creating brand recall.
- Identify new sectors/sub-sectors that can be explored
