ROLE: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all activities related to managing the non-organisation workforce are standardized and process-driven.
- Execute workforce management strategies, ensuring zero non-compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Ensure the Rotation of the causals to mitigate the Risk related to the any legal claim.
- Take responsibility for labor planning, managing casual and third-party employees according to the needs and requirements of various user departments.
- Collaborate with business teams on projects and key initiatives involving the non-organisation workforce.
- Maintain effective communication with shop floor employees and contract labor suppliers regarding the availability of casual/third-party workers.
- Oversee the availability of casual/third-party employees across all shifts at the plant.
- Manage the hiring process for casual employees, including completing onboarding formalities through vendors, such as appointment letters, ID cards, employee codes, document collection, and nomination forms.
- Ensure that 100% of casual and third-party workers complete Code of Conduct (COC), safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training.
- Plan labor requirements for casuals to minimize downtime due to labor unavailability.
- Conduct monthly meetings with cross-functional teams, casual/third-party employees, and labor agencies to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Manage relationships with contractors and agency supervisors, ensuring performance and compliance.
- Prepare labor effectiveness reports, support AOC (Annual Operating Costs) planning, and provide estimates as required.
