Executive Director - Non Financing Regulatory Reporting - Investment Bank

Head of the Regulatory Reporting Team that provides support to the teams across other global jurisdictions

This role will report into the global head of regulatory reporting who is based in London. The role will also have a local dotted line into the Powai Head of Risk and Control.

This role is part of the global regulatory reporting management team.

- Responsible for the overall management and service delivery of all aspects of regulatory reporting.

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reporting to relevant jurisdictions

- Participate in interpreting and implementation of regulatory requirements, staying updated on changes in regulations affecting the organization

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and ensure data quality for reporting purposes

- Conduct periodic reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

- Prepare and maintain documentation related to regulatory reporting processes and controls

- Support responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies and providing requested information

- Participate in the development and enhancement of reporting systems to meet evolving regulatory requirements

- Analyze and interpret financial data to support regulatory reporting requirements

- Assist in coordination of internal and external audits related to regulatory reporting

- Stay abreast of industry best practices and proactively identify areas for process improvement within the regulatory reporting function

- Encourage transparency within the onshore and offshore teams in highlighting and escalating gaps / issues / outliers.

- Able to attract, train and retain talent in the team and work proactively on developing individuals within the team to take additional responsibilities

- Able to provide proper guidance to the team on required standard and ensure delivery of quality review without major defects.
