Looking out experienced lawyer with 7-10 years of recent employment advisory and employment litigation experience.
Responsibilities :
- Handling civil litigation matters (directly and through outside counsel);
- Advising on any issues relating to claims of discrimination, sexual harassment .
- Advising on issues such as compensation, benefits, performance management, training, staffing; discipline and discrimination/harassment;
- Guiding/leading employee investigations, including police-related matters;
- Drafting and reviewing HR policies, agreements and other legal documentation;
- Monitoring developments in laws and regulations;
- Training HR and business managers on best practices;
- Managing employment law aspects of projects.
- Experience translating complex legal concepts into practical solutions to guide HR professionals and business people.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and tax/social insurance issues
- Knowledge of current employment-related regulatory requirements relating to multi-national financial institutions and BPOs;
- Employment law experience with large financial services institutions;
- In-house employment law experience
