Executive Compensation Specialist - Consulting
About the Role:
As the Leader of Compensation and Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing our compensation and benefits strategy. You will ensure that our practices are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with our company's goals. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of consulting organizations who is prepared to lead with a growth mindset, challenge conventional wisdom, and infuse innovative practices into our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage salary structures and benefit packages that attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and oversee the execution of compensation strategies and programs to ensure alignment with the company's business objectives and talent strategy.
- Conduct thorough research to stay ahead of the curve on global best practices and innovative trends in compensation and benefits.
- Challenge the status quo by bringing fresh perspectives and transformative ideas to evolve our people strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and enhance the effectiveness of existing compensation programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Lead the annual compensation review process, including market analysis, budget allocation, and strategic adjustments to compensation structures.
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to ensure seamless administration of compensation and benefit programs through technology solutions.
- Provide leadership and direction to the compensation and benefits team, setting high performance standards and accountability.
- Serve as a thought leader and advisor to the executive team on all compensation and benefits matters.
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits within consulting organizations.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
- Deep knowledge of employment legislation and its application to compensation and benefits policies and practices.
- A track record of execution focus, delivering results through rigorous planning and precise execution.
- Degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
