Job Title: Executive Business Analyst - Sales & Marketing

Location: Boisar , Maharashtra

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar analytical role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in sales performance analysis is highly desirable.

Job Purpose:

The candidate will be responsible for detail-oriented and proactive support to the CMD (Chairman and Managing Director) in monitoring the order position on a weekly basis, ensuring timely updates regarding any potential order losses, and analyzing sales performance across various geographies, customer segments, and sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inquiry and Order Position Monitoring :

- Track the status of inquiries received by the company's sales personnel daily.

- Identify and report the countries and customers from where the inquiries were expected but not materialized.

- Identify orders at risk of being lost and understand the reasons behind lost orders.

- Collect inputs and remarks from sales personnel regarding the status and challenges (if any) of converting the inquiry into order.

- Compile and summarize this data into a comprehensive weekly report/analyze the order position/Ebitda margins/other metrics on a weekly basis for submission to CMD.

2. Sales Performance Analysis:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance by geography, customer segment, product line, and sales personnel.

- Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in sales performance.

- Prepare comprehensive sales reports and dashboards for the CMD, including sales forecasts, revenue trends, and market analysis.

- Work with sales teams to understand and address factors impacting sales performance.

3. Sales Personnel Performance Monitoring:

- Track and analyze the performance of individual sales personnel on a weekly basis.

- Develop performance metrics and KPIs for sales staff, such as sales targets, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.

- Provide feedback and recommendations to the sales team to improve performance and achieve sales goals.

- Identify high-performing sales personnel and best practices to be shared across the team.

- Consolidate MOM of customer meetings and customer visits on a weekly basis

4. Customer Segmentation Analysis:

- Conduct detailed analysis of customer segments to identify high-value customers and opportunities for growth.

- Monitor customer behavior and purchasing patterns to provide insights for targeted marketing and sales strategies.

- Develop and maintain customer segmentation reports, highlighting key metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.

5. Communication and Coordination:

- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to gather necessary data and insights.

- Ensure timely communication of critical information to the CMD and other relevant stakeholders.

- Assist in preparing materials for executive meetings and presentations. 6. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in order monitoring, sales performance analysis, and performance tracking.

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in order management, sales analysis, and performance analysis.
