Business & Location : HO (Gurgaon)
Reporting to : President & CEO
Purpose :
- To assimilate and analyze the information presented to CEO's office to arrive at appropriate actions facilitating effective reviews
- Co-ordinate with various processes (departments) for making available coherent and appropriate information and ensure timely escalations to the relevant BLT and BSLT members
Principal Accountability & Responsibilities :
- Enabling Facts based decisions by the CEO
- En-quire, Collate, Analyze and Conduct level 1 review of performance of all five (plus two) plants and seven business processes.
- Facilitate effective CEO review and decision making.
- Analyze business performance and assist CEO during top management reviews.
- Contributing in Expansions / new businesses
- Analyze business data, identify opportunities for growth, evaluate strategic options and recommend strategies for top and bottom line growth.
- Co-ordinate with acquisition alliance partners.
- Facilitate Board approvals for Capexes and Growth Projects
- Enabling profitability Reviews Level 1 review of cost structures of all five (plus two) manufacturing plants
- Level 1 review of control points of all five (plus two) plants and seven business processes
- Level 1 review of sales targets of all four business segments and ascertain monthly margins
Ensuring Risk reduction :
- Timely escalations to ensure adequate actions and formulate alternate strategies as countermeasures.
- Level 1 review of Board approved projects for timely implementation without cost overruns
- Evaluating Top line and bottom line growth Evaluate growth initiatives through expansion / acquisition
- Quality improvement, cost reduction Gather Cost, quality and operational data for benchmark study and facilitate implementation
- Annual plan Preparations Assist CEO in formulating Breakthrough directions and control points for the financial year.
- Review of Breakthrough directions and control points of CEO.
- Monthly review of Breakthrough and Daily management control points of CEO
- Image building Assist P&CEO in conceptualizing and preparing presentations for external forums to enhance image of organization
- Quality reports from consultants for decision making Conceptualize scope of key deliverable s of the projects (acquisition, alliances) for consultants and acquisition/alliance partners.

- Members of Business Leadership Team, Plant Heads and Process Members Level 1 review of control points while checking for adequacy of causes and countermeasures to ensure proper timely corrective actions.
- Obtain clarifications for variances in regular activities concerning plants and business processes
- Monitor progress on countermeasures finalized
- Quality check of various proposals (capexes, sanction notes etc.) to ensure first time right approvals
- Other business Co-ordinate and ensure cross business learning and deployment of best practices
- Chairman, MD, DMD Analyze and appraise business performance
- Clarifications on performance related queries
- Assist MD's office in preparing presentations, communications etc. to external parties
- Organize business meetings with CEO and/or external parties
- CFO's office Negotiate professional charges for consultants (acquisition, alliances etc.)
- Manage external parties (consultants etc.) and provide brief on scope of work
- Provide business related information for annual reports and planning
External :
- Consultants For assigning study projects, sharing of information, monitoring progress
- Acquisition/ Alliance partners Provide business/ company brief for taking the process forward
- Seek financial and operational information for analysis to aid decision making
- Plan for and co-ordinate meetings with CEO and/or top management
Position Specifications :
- Educational Qualification (minimal required) B.Tech, MBA/ CA
- Duration & nature of past experience required (minimal required) 10 years of experience, with at least 3-6 years in a line function within the Business
