Role Overview The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive-level strategic support and project coordination assistance to the CEO. The incumbent interfaces with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and continually reviews priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Running the project management office, keeping tab of various projects initiated by CEO on budget, timelines, and status
- Communicating directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, external parties, and others, on matters related to the CEO's programmatic issues.
- Researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature and determines appropriate course of action.
- Working closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Performing initial review of routine daily, weekly and monthly reports for CEO.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills and - can do- attitude
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and advanced Power Point skills
- Proficiency with Social Media tools (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Education and Experience
Graduate in any discipline and MBA from one of the premier B schools, with minimum 3-5 years of executive/administrative assistant work experience.
