Description - To provide executive, administrative, development and strategic support to the CEO and the leadership team through driving various programs, processes, projects on behalf of the CEO

- To drive key strategic initiatives within the organization to drive organizational growth while closely interacting with key business leaders to chart out the organizational strategy

Description:

Executive Support:

- Assist in preparing itineraries and driving the calendar of planning and governance of various responsibilities of the CEO

- Assist the CEO with the daily administrative duties and complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing the calendar of appointments, completing expense report, composing, and preparing correspondence, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas


- Program Management

- Ensure various programs being run by the CEO are well tracked, governed, and driven
- Participate and lead few programs actively

- Business Strategic Planning & Governance

- Accountable to develop and drive the Strategic Business Planning and Annual Operating Plan process along with the governance, monitoring, and review mechanism

- Tracking the business decisions by managing competing priorities, allocating critical tasks and solving for multiple stakeholders


- Highlighting progress, delays, share regular progress updates with CEO and the leadership team


- Communication and Coordination

- Drive communication on behalf of the CEO, coordinated activities with various senior stakeholders

- Coordinate various meetings (internal/external), the senior leadership team meetings as per plans and at regular intervals


- Act as a Management Liaison, participate as an adjunct member of the senior leadership team and assist in scheduling, attending meetings. Represent the CEO in designated meetings as required.


- Assists in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings. Prepares an account of the meetings and designates and follows up on assigned action items.


- Research & Reporting

- To regularly monitor news and trends through various sources including media, reports, industry forums, platforms in the sector, competition, suppliers and providing regular updates, summary notes to the CEO. Create a newsfeed to ensure that information is well assimilated at the company level.

- To regularly study competition and market, product trends and provide insights, information and analysis to the CEO


- Research for upcoming trends in the product, strategy, etc for strengthening the CEO role and his preparedness to take strategic and tactical decision


- Business Performance

- Regularly collate, analyse the business performance by evaluating current performance against business plan, projections, tracking the relevant performance metrics, etc. Analyse and highlight the key focus areas

- Liaise with other departments for information and insights


- Participate in devising a strategy and implementation plan for new business models. Provide inputs backed by market research


- MIS & Data Analytics, Monitoring business and its activities

- Create dashboards/score cards/presentations to drive key strategic insights

- Work with CEO in organizing review meeting calendars at the start of the month/week


- Design comprehensive trackers review mechanism and track key tracker items


- Reviewing business/department performance on a periodic basis and presenting recommendations to the CEO, Implementation of CEO's directives across various businesses/departments.


- Provide strategic support and data analysis in key functions to the CEO's Office


Profile :

Technical:

- Engineering Graduates with a Management Degree from (MBA) from a premier/reputed management institute (Tier 1 or 2 business school preferred)

- Around 3+years post-MBA experience in a similar role in the chemical industry


Functional:

- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

- Demonstrated ability to drive Program Management & Project Management


- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks, seamlessly with excellent attention to detail, high organising skills


- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, especially with senior leadership


- Expert-level skills in written and verbal communication


- Emotional maturity


- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective while working on independent assignments


- Excellent competency in Excel, Powerpoint, ERP
