Essential Job Functions
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior management team
- Communicate context to leaders and teams - often as an ambassador of the CEO
- Use internal data and analytical skills to guide goal setting and tracking for work streams and initiatives
- Provide best practices on cross-functional operational and strategic topics
- Cross functional team and project management
- Support external stakeholder relationships
- Development of metrics, KPIs and executive-level dashboards
- Develop and drive communications plans
- Exercise executive level judgement by putting customers and shareholders first
Duties:
- Manage the rhythm of the business, ensuring that the CEO and the leadership team are focused on the right topics at the right time, both optimizing within the week and looking at horizons many months out
- Coordinate information, direction, and feedback between CEO and Executive Team
- Collaborate with senior executives to drive agendas and report on results
- Act as a proxy for the CEO when appropriate, leading and following up on executive team and leadership team meetings
- Facilitate healthy debate, arriving at shared context as a team, managing meeting outputs and holding others accountable for their deliverables
- Guide special projects as assigned by the CEO tied to new growth initiatives
- Lead the development of presentations for investors, employee meetings and conferences based on input from the teams
- Develop and manage company-wide CEO and executive communications to employees
- Develop actionable and date-driven plans
- Meeting planning and execution
- Seek to implement "good enough solutions" quickly then iterate to "perfection"
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required
- Masters' in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- 8-10+ years of experience in technology focused industry required, 15+ years preferred
- Data center experience is strongly preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting
- Proficient with project management and reporting
- Strong experience with presenting complex data sets both written and orally with the ability to simplify for ease of understanding
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
