JOB PURPOSE:
- The position reports to the Country Head of DRC.
- The main purpose of this position is to understand the ground realities of business module of the company in Kinshasa DRC and work as per the guidelines from Country Head.
- Visit the OU & Branches, observe the operations, controls, and training the shop managers/staff to have management controls and checks on activities as per laid down procedures and formats in Kinshasa or Head Office so as to significantly influence the current business performance as well as helping to map out the operations and systems with creative strategies for future growth

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
- Statistically analyze the day to day Data and present the variances, shortfalls, along with suggestions for improvement after taking opinion from the team.
- Observe and Train the shop manager and other local expat staff on all aspects of day to day operations , sales, shop activities , customer relations, market intelligence, new product launch management , physical inventory controls, give feedback on marketing and sales activities , HR relations and policies management .
- Study daily, weekly, monthly reports and collate useful information for management for better qualitative decisions.
- Monitor AOP and Sales and assist in executing agreed annual sales & marketing plans within the budget.
- Monitor and provide details of marketing expenditure within agreed guidelines and reports deviations.
- Monitor and assist in all New Product Launches.
- Monitor and timely intervene for promptly application of all pricing strategy proposals, competitor analysis and any market surveys as required.
- Training and management of local marketing team of talented individuals.
- Evaluating and assessing various reports and prepare a final detailed analytical report for study of Country Head.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & AGE:
- 3-5 Years experienced and creative Marketing individual.
- Preferably with proven track record in an African environment for at least 2 years, with relevant experience in Pharma & FMCG sectors.
- Pharma Graduate, preferably post Graduate in Pharmacy, (M.Pharm) with relevant marketing experience. An additional Marketing qualification would be beneficial.
- Fluency in English and Knowledge of Hindi & French would be beneficial.
- Computer operating skills required like, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent presentation skills are essential.
