Job Summary :
The Associate - Recruitment is a passionate individual who is responsible for handling the entire recruitment process and managing vendors to ensure results for talent acquisition by developing a suitable hiring strategy. The Recruiter serves as a subject matter expert on identifying, developing and implementing strategic talent acquisition initiatives, which results in solid pipeline of prospective candidates. The incumbent also works with the Manager - Human Resources as a consultative advisor by driving innovative solutions to meet the hiring needs of the business.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage Full-cycle recruiting and selection process across internal and external requirements by collaborating with Hiring managers to identify ideal candidate skills and experience needed.
- Create a comprehensive job description based on hiring manager specifications to be used to present to candidates and to post to job boards and other social media sources.
- Sourcing a diverse candidate pool using various methods (for example, cold calling, social networking, job board/internet mining) while promoting employment value proposition.
- Planning and executing the interview process; communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to candidates, hiring managers, and vendors throughout the selection process
- Scheduling interviews, briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews.
- Proficient in managing multiple recruitment vendors; sharing requirements, assessing them, and giving feedback as per the TAT.
- Managing the offer process, including negotiating and communicating offer information, compensation, and benefits; ensuring effective on boarding of new hires; and ensuring selection process documentation is completed and updated into ATS.
- Provide reporting and regular status updates to the HR Manager and Hiring Manager as required.
- Solicit referrals from potential talent and internal employees/recent hires.
Secondary Responsibilities :
- Handle general HR admin and operational activities apart from being available as a point of contact as and when needed.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills :
- Master's Degree in Human Resources and a strong understanding the functional breakdown of an organization at the executive level.
- Proven track record in the implementation of innovative recruiting strategies that supports aggressive business growth.
- Must have significant recruiter & vendor management experience, in multiple recruiting environments (agency or corporate) with a wide variety of job disciplines (preferable SAP Hiring)
- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule (occasional weekends may be required).
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence candidates and colleagues
- Strong problem solving ability
- Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond current role openings and identify strong industry talent.
- Laptop/PC skills and desire to work with new and innovative technology.
- Proficient in MS - Office tools like Advanced MS EXCEL, WORD, POWER POINT, OUTLOOK.
- Ability to accurately and articulately document information.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedback.
- Good Sense of Humour
