As EVP - Manufacturing (Automotive):
Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies that guide the organisation in maintaining and improving its manufacturing competitiveness.
Ensures adherence to Manufacturing plan and quality.
Takes overall responsibility for streamlining, optimal utilization of resources, improving process efficiencies and reducing the total cost of manufacturing
Drive process control and manufacturing excellence
Bring world class manufacturing practices
Develop the Manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
Achieve optimum Direct / Indirect employee levels with least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budgetary plan
Direct and Monitor factories to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan consistent with established manufacturing and safety standards.
Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap.
Initiate and monitor major projects like plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment etc.
Direct and monitor various activities essential to Quality Manufacturing practices (e.g., House Keeping, Training, Safety, Cost reduction)
Liaison with marketing and service for field feedback and take corrective action to ensure manufacturing failures are minimised
Liaison with R&D for new product development, design changes etc.
Advice Management on Technology Selection
Advice Management on expansion of plant capacity and ensure implementation
Build technical capability in the Organisation
Drive automation and technology upgradation
Streamlining operations in all the plants and bring Standardisation
Ensure harmonious Industrial Relations
Key Internal Interfaces Key External Interfaces

Engineering Graduate & MBA
Age: 45 years
20 years in manufacturing function and at least 3 years in a position of similar responsibility.
