Job Summary
- The Events Sales Associate will be responsible for the maintenance and flow of the sales department and all systems included as well as be responsible for the planning and execution of event driven marketing initiatives
- They will be responsible for overseeing the sales inquiries for all corporates and for ensuring all standards are being met by providing accurate and accountable information to potential clients, including spearheading the planning and execution of inhouse on-resort events, 3rd party events, music bookings, and other campaigns.
- They will be responsible for all event sales admin work including: creating working diagrams with the creative department, rental orders, upselling of the property, maintaining up to date master calendar, maintaining wedding/event lodging blocks, reporting, inventory management, and forward progression and development.
Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks Event Sales Duties
- Event Sales focused on corporate annual contract, Hotel, resort and convention centre annual contracts,
- Corporate groups conferences, R & R, BTL activities
- Keeping up with correspondence and have accountable response times
- Monitoring and tracking of clients requesting information
- Continuation of customer service standards
- Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting
- Booking and facilitating site tours
- Working with Wedding management company
- Coordination assistance on Event day
- Direct contact with current and future clients
- Communication with management teams on any needs or areas of concern that may affect other departments
- Supporting events teams during peak event seasons
- Support all departments of the team in creating an exceptional guest experience.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.

- Have excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and courtesy.
