Head Events - With a luxury publishing house
- Conceptualize, ideate and bring new event ideas to the table while working in conjunction with teams across brands for existing properties and help develop new properties. The role involves working closely with other departments within the organization- Marketing, Editorial, Ad Sales, PR and Finance.
- Manage the event properties from end of end working closely with an event agency.
- Manage overall event budgets with a key focus on reducing event costs at every level working closely with vendors and optimizing all vendors associations. Includes maintaining event data, budgets and P&L's. Knowledge of tax components and structure in connection with on-ground events
- Manage the Event Management team in all areas of recruitment, induction and training, event allocation and performance. Supervise and enable creativity through planning, inspiring, delegating and continually reviewing and monitoring working practices and patterns
Skills :
- Deep understanding and expertise of all event execution elements, ability to understand and led the thinking on all event execution with an eye for detail.
Creative and innovation :
- Ability to bring new ideas to the table across all event elements - concept, stage design, entertainment and overall look and feel.
Collaboration :
- Ability to work closely with brand & editorial teams on developing strong brand properties and executing. Ability to work with a diverse set of people both within and outside the organization, communicating effectively across all stake holders.
Thinking and Problem solving :
- Ability to identify solutions and move forward despite hurdles with a focus on project management.
- Capacity Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and to handle multiple projects simultaneously, across brands
- Minimum of 10 years of event management agency experience with luxury events as part of the portfolio.
