Responsibilities:
Event Sales & Client Management:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new event business.
- Identify and qualify leads, build strong relationships with potential clients, and present compelling proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage client expectations throughout the event lifecycle.
- Oversee event budgets and ensure profitability.
Event Planning & Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and audio/visual requirements.
- Manage event budgets and timelines to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are addressed.
Industry Knowledge & Networking:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning and management.
- Network with industry professionals and develop relationships to attract new clients and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event sales or a similar role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
- Strong understanding of event planning and management principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of the Bengaluru event market and industry trends (a plus).
- Experience in the hospitality or events industry (a plus)
