Evenflow - Head - Due Diligence

Evenflow Brands is in the business of acquiring (majority stake or 100% acquisition) ecommerce 3rd party sellers, consolidating them and operating them to drive efficiency, optimisation & growth.

Role: Head of Due Diligence

Location - Remote & flexible

- Evenflow Brands is in the business of acquiring (majority stake or 100% acquisition) ecommerce 3rd party sellers, consolidating them and operating them to drive efficiency, optimisation & growth. This entails doing a thorough due diligence on the sellers before moving forward with the transaction - and we are looking for someone to come in & build this function. You can assume the average transaction size to be ~$1.5-2m, and doing 12-15 DDs in the 1st year.

- Evenflow Brands- success starts with comprehensive due diligence - it's the only way for us to be confident about the 3rd party sellers that we are acquiring. This position deals with the analyzing of financial and operational statements and contracts for the Acquisitions team - and working with an external auditor to do a thorough due diligence on the sellers.

Core Responsibilities:

- To confirm and verify information that was brought up during the deal

- Analyze financial and operational results of sellers to be acquired through reviewing accounting records & other financial statements

- Preparing/evaluating pro forma financial information

- Assisting in identifying pre/post-acquisition issues

- Engaging external auditors, legal firms & working closely with them

- Building the process & playbooks for the due diligence - on financial, legal & operational aspects

We are looking for:

- Chartered Accountancy degree or MBA Finance with 6-8 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence or Statutory Audit

- At least 4 years of relevant external audit experience working with an accounting firm and/or mergers and acquisitions transactions experience or experience in financial planning and analysis

- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

- Self motivated with a strong bias for execution
