Job description
- Conducting qualitative (secondary) and quantitative research and on a variety of areas and prepare standard or custom products
- Structure problems and plan delivery along with managers
- Lead projects (based on experience), guide junior team members, performing quality checks on their output, and give feedback as required
- Liaison with onshore colleagues to drive workflow, trainings and best practices
- Client communication - via emails, phone and conference calls
- Contribute actively in team discussions and work on various group specific strategic initiatives
Skill Set Required/Experience
- Strong experience in each of areas of research - data compilation, analysis, synthesis and presentation, with high skill in drawing insights from information
- Cross industry and/or ad hocs background is preferred
- Project, people and client management experience is necessary
- Should have excellent writing skills - the individual is required to write reports
- Functional Knowledge of databases (including excel plug-ins) e.g. Thomson One, OneSource/Avention, Lexis Nexis, Capital IQ, BvD or other sources
- Advanced user of standard or meta search engines
- Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application
- Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and persuasion skills
- Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work
- Should be very comfortable with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
