Job description :
- Manage EVS Team researchers - Coaches, provides feedback and motivates team members (5 to 12) through clear communication, appropriate delegation and targeted intervention to ensure high quality output
- Provide research support to our client research center
- Identifies practical, timely and innovative research approaches; as needed, clarifies request objectives with internal customers ensuring superior customer service standards throughout all interactions; evaluates data quality.
- Conduct research, (primary and secondary research) gathering information from relevant and qualified sources.
- Execute complex research requests requiring greater knowledge of relevant industry, topics and source/database expertise
- Conduct data analysis to support the research request provided by the client
- Develops deep expertise in specialized research tools, databases and sources; may focus on specific data classes (e.g., demographics, micro-economics, commodities, etc.)
- Should have flair to work across industry sectors and good business acumen.
- Takes pro-active role in quality control process for the client and coaches and mentors more junior staff
- Coordinate with the Client's Manager
- Coordinate with the client's Specialists
- Coordinate with EVS Global Account Manager
- Coordinate with the client's Practice Area leads on research requests and execution
- Demonstrate domain knowledge and thought leadership while dealing with the client team
- Conducts and Initiates various training, allied activities with the team and the group.
Skills set required :
- Expert in Rapid and Qualitative Research
- Extensive experience in databases (e.g. Factiva, OneSource, Thompson one, Capital IQ, Hoovers, and EIU etc.)
- Ability to understand the consulting business environment, language, and processes
- Ability to manage people (mentoring)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Should have high customer and team centricity.
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent oral communication and writing skills
- Independent thinking
- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner

Education and Experience :
- University degree from a reputed institute with 5-8 years of advanced research experience. Master Degree will be an additional advantage.
