Job Description :
- The selected candidate will have to engage with senior members of the client team in meaningful discussions on the impact of key events on the sector, issue analysis, etc. The key responsibilities include :
- Manage a team of analysts / senior analysts / managers
- Provide on-the-job training, and mentor, coach, and conduct performance appraisals for the team
- Coordinate with the client stakeholders to understand project requests, define scope of research, and provide updates on projects
- Demonstrate Credit Research domain knowledge and thought leadership while dealing with the client team
- Understand research needs and objectives of the client and conceptualize solutions to fulfill these requirements
- Conduct research from the relevant and qualified sources, and undertake in-depth analysis
- Prepare financial models and credit reports and provide insights
- Identify practical, timely, and innovative research approaches, as needed; evaluate the quality of the deliverables
- Take proactive role in quality control process.
Skill Set :
- Applied knowledge / experience building bespoke financial models covering key credit metrics, and prepare credit reviews
- Ability to scan indentures and prepare covenant summary
- Ability to manage people (mentoring)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to ensure that all the tasks allocated are completed in a timely manner
- Possess active listening skills and an analytical frame of mind
