Role  Our research teams generate investment ideas and then market those ideas to institutional investors, hedge funds, and our own internal sales force and traders. The associate will support a highly rated Strategy teams and interact with the relevant teams in our global offices. Working within the Strategy team, the candidate will provide analytical support to the team including:  - Performing data collation and analysis,  - Creating and maintaining information on databases etc  - Working on financial fundamental and macro indicators  - Monitoring, analyzing and commenting on day-to-day happenings across regions and markets with the aim of identifying and highlighting key trends   - Working on quant models and help develop them.  - Keeping the team abreast with key investment debates.  - Contributing to weekly thematic reports, and generating investment ideas  - Working with sales to respond to client requests, both internal and external, including tailored and bespoke requests   Educational Requirements:  - B.Tech/ M.Tech (dual) from IIT/BITs/ any top tier Engineering Institutes (or) MBA from reputed colleges,  - 1-3 years of Financial/ Industry experience  - Any progress towards CFA (AIMR, USA) would be preferred  - Strong academic record, quantitative skills and an interest in and understanding of financial markets  Skills Required:  - Ability to understand and analyze economic and financial data  - Excellent skills relating to Number crunching and Data Analysis  - Strong analytical and problem solving skills  - Strong Excel skills  - Ability to synthesize research findings  - Ability to write summary reports  - Knowledge of VBA and statistical analysis tools will be an added advantage  - Interpersonal Skills  Strong communication skills - written and verbal (principally telephone)  Initiative/Ability to be pro-active  Problem Solving/Questioning outlook  Dedication/Resilience  Ability to effectively work in a team  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks  Flexible approach to workload and demands of role
