Job description:
- Process research requests effectively and efficiently, selecting and utilizing the most relevant internal and external information sources.
- Data collection through secondary research including financial databases. Utilize quantitative and qualitative secondary research products.
- Engage with requestors to understand their requirements better and deliver on time as per deadlines.
- Work in shifts (including night shifts) as required by project requirements.
Skill Set:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be comfortable using following databases - Thomson Research, Factiva, Moody's, Fitch, Standard & Poor's, Alacra, Factset, Avention (OneSource), Private Company filings.
- Experience in handling extensive Public and Private Company research.
- Conversant with types of company filings such as 10K, 10Q, 20F, Investor Presentations etc.
- Ability to understand and formalize required end deliverables within defined timelines.
- Candidates must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a deadline driven environment.
- Strong business research fundamentals and understanding of financial concepts.
- Must have good lateral thinking, be decisive and self-confident.
- Good MS Office skills & presentation skills.
Education and experience:
- MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- 1-7 years of experience in Business Information Research/Library Services/Information Research.
- Knowledge of Databases like Thomson Research, Factiva, Moody's, Fitch, Standard & Poor's, Alacra, Factset, Avention (OneSource), Private Company filings.
