We are currently building our team and now searching for-ESG Expert for ESRS E3: Water & Marine Resources (m/f/d- 100% Remote)
Position Overview:
The ESG Expert for ESRS E3 will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies related to water and marine resources, ensuring compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) E3. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, sustainability, and ESG reporting with a focus on water and marine ecosystems.
Your Daily Tasks:
ESRS E3 Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ESRS E3 requirements concerning water and marine resources.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with ESRS E3 standards.
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement ESG strategies focused on the sustainable management of water and marine resources.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for improving water and marine resource management.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to water and marine resources.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of water and marine resource initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable water and marine resource practices.
- Engage with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and NGOs to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare ESG reports, including the sustainability aspects of water and marine resources.
- Communicate ESG performance related to water and marine resources to stakeholders.
Training and Development:
- Provide training and support to internal teams on ESRS E3 and sustainable water and marine resource management.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging issues, and regulatory changes related to water and marine resources.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Marine Biology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental management with a focus on water and marine resources.
- In-depth knowledge of ESRS E3 standards, water and marine resource management, and relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and ESG reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in ESG or environmental management are a plus.
