ESG Expert for ESRS E5: Circular Economy (m/f/d- 100% Remote)

Position Overview:

The ESG Expert for ESRS E5 will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies related to the circular economy, ensuring compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) E5. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of circular economy principles, sustainability, and ESG reporting.

Your Daily Tasks:

ESRS E5 Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with ESRS E5 standards related to the circular economy.

- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with ESRS E5 requirements.

Strategy Development:

- Develop and implement ESG strategies focused on circular economy principles, including waste reduction, recycling, and resource efficiency.

- Conduct assessments to identify opportunities for improving circular economy practices.

Data Collection and Analysis:

- Collect, analyze, and report data related to circular economy initiatives.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of circular economy projects and programs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote circular economy practices.

- Engage with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and NGOs to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.

Reporting and Communication:

- Prepare ESG reports, emphasizing the company's performance in circular economy practices.

- Communicate ESG performance and progress on circular economy initiatives to stakeholders.

Training and Development:

- Provide training and support to internal teams on ESRS E5 and circular economy principles.

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging issues, and regulatory changes related to the circular economy.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental management with a focus on circular economy practices.

- In-depth knowledge of ESRS E5 standards, circular economy principles, and relevant regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in data analysis and ESG reporting tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Relevant certifications in ESG or environmental management are a plus.
