ESG Expert for ESRS S1: Own Workforce (m/f/d- 100% Remote)
Position Overview:
The ESG Expert for ESRS S1 will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies related to our own workforce, ensuring alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) S1. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, social sustainability, and ESG reporting.
Your Daily Tasks:
ESRS S1 Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ESRS S1 standards related to the company's own workforce.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures that align with ESRS S1 requirements.
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement ESG strategies focused on workforce-related issues, including diversity and inclusion, health and safety, employee well-being, and labor practices.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify opportunities for improving workforce-related practices.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to workforce demographics, employee satisfaction, turnover rates, and other key performance indicators.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce initiatives and programs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, compliance, and operations teams, to promote sustainable workforce practices.
- Engage with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and NGOs to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare ESG reports, highlighting the company's performance in workforce-related areas.
- Communicate ESG achievements and challenges related to the workforce to internal and external stakeholders.
Training and Development:
- Provide training and support to internal teams on ESRS S1 and sustainable workforce management practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging issues, and regulatory changes related to workforce sustainability.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG, human resources, or social sustainability with a focus on workforce-related issues.
- Thorough understanding of ESRS S1 standards, workforce management, and relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and ESG reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in ESG or human resources management are a plus.
