Ethics group of companies is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to oversee and drive sales activities within our warehousing/Transportation company across specific regions.
You will be responsible in identifying business opportunities and achieving sales targets in your assigned territory.
Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales.
Locations: Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hyderabad & Pondicherry
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Focus on revenue generation
- 3PL New Business development
- New Lead Generation, opening new calls and follow up till closure
- Following up on leads provided by the company to push new sales
- Follow up with existing customers for project loads and incremental business
- Monthly & Quarterly review with existing customers for client retention and service excellence
- Achieving sales budgets
- Be aggressive in generating new business in Contract Logistics
- Capable to close business with clients
- Be proactive in lead generation and follow up with customers
- Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business by coordinating all business development actions & triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a country or cluster level.
- You will do this by working with a variety of internal & external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.
- To develop & manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
- To lead commercial negotiations & create high quality business proposals.
- To actively develop & maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
- To actively network & link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Vertical Specialists, Account Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country.
- To highlight achievements in the business development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
- To capture, manage business & market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
- Develop new clients for Contract Logistics/Warehouse selling with optimizing resources & by driving continuous improvements
- Monitor Customer KPI's & conduct periodic reviews to ensure effective operations in area.
- Planning of Multi-Client Facility footprint expansion in assigned area.
- Achieve the targeted revenue via space selling.
- Maintain healthy relationship with Customers & business partners
- Monitor Product development & market trends in the assigned area.
Desired Candidate's Profile:
- Experience of 2-5 Years in Warehousing/Logistics
- Master's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong solution selling background
- Warehouse operations understanding.
- Solution building/selling traits.
- Strong product knowledge
- Team player
- Ability to comprehend general strategy guidelines and implement the same
- Good communication skills
- Strong software skills (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc)
- Ability to negotiate
- Willingness to travel extensively
