Regional Manager Sales - North/West
DEPARTMENT : Bulk Sales Division, FG Sales
LOCATION : Mumbai As Defined/ Pan India
REPORTING TO : National Sales Manager/Sr GM
OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
- Build & Grow Sales Volume in Assigned Territory, Region
- Handling existing & new sales verticals like General Trade, Super Distributor Model, Retail Channel etc.
- Growth in Market Depth & Width - Geographic, Customer, Broker, Channel
- Collecting and using Market Intelligence for business & trade relations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Must have at least 6 years experience in handling bulk sales of Pulses/Edible Oil/Flour/Rice/Sugar industry
- Good knowledge of commodity trade and channels
- Well versed with sales and distribution Network & data analytical tools
Sales Operations :
- Periodically Review Traders performance, Product Variants Sales against set targets.
- Review weekly Contracts ageing, Dispatches deviations, Collections against set targets.
- Achieving Sales Volume, Revenue & Distribution Targets
- Design, plan and execute Offers and Schemes as per market need & ensure timely disbursal.
Market Development :
- Identify & launch new products & variants in targeted markets as per potential.
- Add new distribution channels in partially covered/ uncovered geographies to expand customer base.
- Add new lead generation tools, business partners, Brokers, SDs as per their market strength.
- Identifying new markets for value added products and slow moving variants.
- Effective use of Knowledge of Market Trends, Seasonality, Price movements, NCDX, Trade Terms.
Supply Chain and Plant Related :
- Has close coordination for production, Dispatch and Quality of manufactured products with Plant & 3Ps
- Coordinating with internal CMT, Finance and SCM Teams to ensure timely deliveries to customers
DESIRED PROFILE :
- Having good knowledge of more than one regions, zones for General Trade, Wholesale &/or Retail.
- Support RM & FG Procurement team with Quality and Price assessment from potential vendors for operational efficiency
- Support SCM team in arranging new competitive vendors for Transportation and warehouses
- Operational coordination with Plants & 3Ps for production planning, vendors development, transporters.
- Assisting in Market research, Field crop surveys, product mapping.
- Strong written, analytical & presentation skills and computer proficiency on systems like Online Apps, ERP/ SAP.
QUALIFICATION : PG/PGDM/MBA
TOTAL EXPERIENCE : 6- 10 years
