Role:
The main responsibilities include
1. Financial Modelling
a. Project Finance Modelling of solar, gas, wind
b. Corporate Finance Modelling
c. performing sensitivity analysis
d. Develop, perform and maintain proprietary financial modelling and analysis on key projects and provide solution-oriented ideas to enhance project outcomes and process improvements;
2. Capital Raising
a. Ability to draw up an IM
b. creating presentations
c. Ability to raise capital from lenders
d. Manage a due diligence process for internal and external parties
3. Advising
a. Advising the CEO, CFO and Developer Teams on tactical and corporate strategy as a result of analysis
b. Creating presentations
c. Conduct financial research in support of project feasibility and due diligence requirements;
d. Develop and prepare a variety of financial reports pertaining to project feasibility and performance
4. Analysis
a. Analyzing financial information
b. Analyzing transactions
Experience and Qualities:
1. At least 4 years experience in a similar role
2. Ability to work alone with no guidance
3. Leadership capability is none negotiable
4. Entrepreneurial and solution orientated
5. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
6. VBA experience will be seen in a positive light
7. Strong understanding of financial modelling and risk management assessment techniques (i.e. sensitive analysis, break even analysis, stress testing, scenario analysis, Statistical analysis, significance testing, MonteCarlo simulations, Weibull analysis etc.);
8. Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
9. Good time management and organizational skills
10. Willingness to travel internationally to attend meetings
Reporting To:
1. Directly to the CFO
2. Supporting the Development Teams
3. Supporting the CEO
Qualifications:
1. Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Mathematical Finance or Engineering combined with Business degree (or equivalent);
2. An MBA, Chartered Accountant A or equivalent will be seen in a positive light
