Job Purpose:
- To support the Senior Management in Essar Ports in developing strategic initiatives on Expansion, New Projects, Government Relations, Marketing and Project Financing activities.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
- Supports the function of marketing and business development, M&A activities.
- Monitoring various projects and supporting the project execution team from the perspective of Sr. Management.
- Will be in close interaction with banks & financial institution for supporting the funding requirements, preparation of PIMS for new project, work in close co-ordination with CFO of the subsidiary companies.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Liasioning with government bodies, for approvals, coordinating with various ministries like Revenue, Ports Environment etc at Centre and State level for smooth functioning of the projects/subsidiaries.
- Will be working as the part of Executive Pool and will be supporting MD & Sr. Management for Ports Business.

- To able to meet the challenges by maintaining high level of accuracy and consistency in the function without any disturbance, taking active part in fulfilling business requirements
- To achieve the targets in the given time frame.
