ESG Implementation Role
Location: Sec. 48, Gurgaon
Working Days: Sunday-Thursday
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Ensure company HSEQ policies, procedures and practices are followed.
2. Advise on, maintain and document the ESG internal control framework, including maintaining the database of policies, procedures, processes and guidelines/templates of the dedicated ESG area. The structured initial implementation and continuous improvement of this framework is in order to make a robust audit process for certifications possible.
3. Advise on, maintain and structure the ESG data for the different ESG reports in a structured manner in cooperation with the different data owners.
4. Conduct the reporting processes and advise the ESG officer and Board on these reports, with respect to the ESG reports, like annual sustainability report, ESG paragraph in annual financial report, reports for ESG investments and more.
5. Research, develop and improve the ESG internal control framework and ESG databases by working towards a clear set of policies, procedures and data structure which are properly referenced and assess whether areas not incorporated yet need to be documented in compliance with the relevant requirements from internal and external stakeholders and laws & regulations. Ensure that the level of the internal control framework and available data aligns with the strategy of the company, including certification requirements.
6. Advise staff involved in ESG data and procedures to prepare those documents in a consistent manner across the company.
7. Research and monitor new/emerging best practices and publications about the ESG framework theory and other certification standards, eg. ISO, SDGs, EU Taxonomy/CSRD. Advise within his/her areas of responsibility all relevant departments within the organization of any factual finding. Include on any such reporting other experts of the company within this area, to assure proper interpretation and understanding of any new or announced publications.
Principal Challenges (1-3):
1. Staying on top of the internal requirements and strategy coupled with the changing best practices and certification standards requirements (ISO and EU Directives).
2. Staying in contact with the organization to ensure the framework and data set aligns with the needs of the management, but also is practical to execute and use.
Know How:
Job Knowledge (JK):
- Minimum bachelor's degree
- Good experience in internal control area
- Experience in ESG Reporting
