Eruditus Executive Education - Manager Business - Intelligence & Reporting

Manager, Business Intelligence and Reporting :

- Lead the Business Intelligence team supporting the data and business information requirements of the course design and delivery teams as well as other functions across Emeritus. You will be encouraged to constantly challenge the current level of reports and data processes, and bring in innovations in reporting to generate insights using the latest tools and technologies available. You will also lead transformation initiatives in the reporting and analytics process excellence domain.

Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end reporting and MIS delivery for multiple processes.

- Be responsible for ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and smooth delivery of all the reports and the data requests.

- Develop and optimize BI dashboards, reports, data models, and data flows. 

- Test and validate accuracy of data in reports, analytics and dashboards. 

- Lead meeting and report development agenda for course Design and Delivery functions to review performance and efficiency of the current processes. 

- Perform analysis of the various reports to extract actionable insights and trends.

- Present your insights to the management team using data visualization tools, models, etc.

- Provide transparency and instructions to your team on the expectation for each report and dashboard.

- Build redundancies for effective delivery. 

- Develop a strategy for redefining manual reports and automate them using Redash, SQL DB, and Power BI solutions. Lead the way in implementing new technologies in the business intelligence function. 

- Link process metrics, performance metrics and set up benchmarks for comparable projects and processes. 

- Cater to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests by the management/ stake holders. 

- Creating SOPs, report logic documents and other work-related documents. 

- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of the reports and dashboards that get sent to the partner universities and institutions. Also develop reports and tools to give daily and weekly visibility of most important business KPIs to the senior management.

Qualifications/Skills :

- 5+ years of work experience in reporting, MIS and/or analytics project delivery with specific focus on client relationship management

- Excellent comprehension and communication skills for interacting with business units, internal teams, and senior management

- Strong knowledge of Power BI, Excel VBA, SQL, and database concepts; prior exposure to Redash a big plus

- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApps, and Wrike will be helpful

- Prior experience in Python/Javascript coding, fetching data through APIs, and automation tools is desirable
